About the Opportunity
Role Summary:
We are seeking an Educational Support Specialist to provide educational counselling and support services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and students across multiple schools. This includes providing individual and group support to students in areas such as personal, academic, and social skills development, as well as behaviour management.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver educational counselling and support services to enhance student outcomes
* Develop engaging activities to increase education involvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
* Foster partnerships with information and support services to promote student success
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in educational counselling and support services
* Strong understanding of cross-cultural awareness and its impact on education
* Ability to develop and deliver training programs
