Administration Support Officer (Planning)
This is a 0.4 FTE temporary position for a period of 12 months.
The successful applicant will provide general administrative support and customer service duties for Council's Town Planning team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support and customer service duties for the Town Planning team.
* Assist in the preparation and processing of Planning documents.
* Maintain records and produce reports for Council.
* Be the customer point of contact for Planning enquiries.
* Receive, assess and initiate action on enquiries and requests.
* Assist in the management and maintenance of databases.
* Research basic issues and prepare routine reports.
* Respond to correspondence on behalf of the Team and follow up on outstanding correspondence or reports.
Requirements:
* Certificate II or higher in Business Administration.
* Prior experience in an administration/clerical/reception-oriented role.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Competence in Microsoft software applications.
