To provide coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical nurse education (including programs) at the ward/unit level. Such education may include orientation and/or transitioning for new nursing staff, undergraduate and casual nurses as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff. Provide clinical supervision at the point of care within everyday clinical practice, in line with the ANMC Decision Making Frameworks for Nurses and Midwives.

Reporting directly to the Community Service Manager.

Role Requirements
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the following criteria in your application:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Holds a relevant clinical or education post registration qualification or 3 years clinical experience in mental health nursing and education.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles).
* Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment.
* Computer literacy and understanding of hospital information systems.
* Experience in working within a practice development framework, including experience in facilitating groups.
