Overview
Ready to lead infection prevention at one of NSW's largest regional health districts? Central Coast Local Health District covers a growing, diverse community across Gosford, Wyong, and surrounding services. Our IPAC team works across the whole network, and we need an experienced specialist to lead it. This senior clinical role involves driving practice change, delivering specialist education, consulting across multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to research and state‐level forums.
Qualifications
* AHPRA registration and post‐graduate qualifications in your specialty.
* 5+ years post‐registration experience, with at least 3 in IPAC.
* A track record of leading change across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
* Leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of the IPAC program across multiple facilities.
* Providing complex, evidence‐based clinical consultancy to nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
* Driving clinical practice improvement through policy development, audit, and surveillance activities.
* Delivering and coordinating specialist IPAC education for the health workforce, including postgraduate program contribution.
* Initiating and disseminating research relevant to infection prevention practice.
* Providing clinical supervision for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Assistants in Nursing.
* Participating in state and national working parties and contributing to the advancement of nursing practice standards.
