As a Print Finishing Specialist, you will be a pivotal part of our printing operations, responsible for ensuring that printed materials meet quality standards and are ready for distribution. Operating a variety of finishing equipment, your expertise will contribute to the delivery of high-quality printed products to our clients.
JOB DUTIES
- Operate and maintain finishing equipment to ensure smooth workflow.
- Review job orders and specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Perform precise cutting and trimming of printed materials.
- Load and unload printed items onto drying racks, following production schedules.
- Fold and crease printed materials according to specified dimensions.
- Inspect finished products for quality defects, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and finishing details.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Conduct binding operations using various techniques.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow effectively.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the printing industry.
- Minimum Certificate III qualification in Printing or related field.
- Printing Proficiency in operating finishing equipment, such as guillotine cutters, folding machines, and binding equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in finished products.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to printing operations.
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
