* Position: Hospital Pharmacy Technician.
* Location: Slade Pharmacy, Whyalla Hospital and Health Service, SA.
* Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time Max Term Contract until September 2026 with possibility of extension.
About The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join Slade Pharmacy's dedicated team at Whyalla Hospital. You'll play a key role in the dispensing and supply of medications for hospital and oncology patients.
Working closely with experienced clinical pharmacists and technicians, you'll gain hands‐on experience in a hospital environment focused on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers.
* Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients.
* Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management.
* Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards.
* Complete data entry of patient specific information into database.
* Assist with patient account enquiries.
* Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees.
* Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration.
About You
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented pharmacy technician who thrives in a hospital setting and is keen to support oncology services. You'll be someone who values accuracy, safety, and teamwork, and is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
