**The Company**
Our client is a national and internationally affiliated mid-tier firm that covers a full suite of taxation, business advisory, audit, SMSF and financial planning services for its extensive client base. An organically growing business who are challenging the Big 4 and other businesses with its service offering, they have grown their audit client listing and require an Intermediate level auditor to come onboard.
**The Opportunity**
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting various audit engagements simultaneously with numerous engagement team members per audit;
- Performing debtor collection, cost management and billing functions, assisting with planning, execution and scheduling staff;
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and preparing reports and opinions to management;
- Assisting with management and co-ordination of the audit team including training, mentoring and methodology compliance.
**The Successful Applicant**
Key requirements for this role are:
- 1-2 years' experience within a similar position;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Ability to assist in the management of a client portfolio to ensure all client needs are dealt with on a timely basis; and
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
