Randstad is proud to partner with a leading global commercial real estate services firm to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This exciting short-term contract (2–3 months) is ideal for a commercially focused finance professional with experience in business partnering and strong month-end and budgeting skills.
About the Role:
The Finance Business Partner will deliver timely, insightful financial support to a key client account. Working closely with operational leaders and business units, they will ensure monthly reporting, budgeting, and control processes meet high standards and align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with key contract KPIs.
* Present meaningful insights to operational and executive stakeholders.
* Track initiatives and lead monthly accruals, prepayments, and P&L commentary.
* Balance sheet reconciliation, aged item management, and financial query resolution.
Budgets & Planning:
* Drive annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
* Partner with business streams to build bottom-up property-level cost bases.
* Identify risks, deliver variance analysis, and support decision-making.
* Presentation of outputs to stakeholders across facilities management, procurement, etc.
Controls & Compliance:
* Maintain ownership of client finance-related controls.
* Support audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors.
* Uphold compliance with internal SOX control standards.
Contract & Project Support:
* Manage client P&Ls and contribute to monthly performance reviews.
* Support the development of operating plans and finance initiatives.
* Participation in ad hoc projects to enhance process and system efficiencies.
Relationship Management:
* Act as a finance partner to operational stakeholders including Facilities Managers and Portfolio Managers.
* Deliver responsive and high-quality support tailored to client needs.
