About the opportunity:
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced professional for the role of Electrical Construction Supervisor.
About the role:
Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the role is responsible for:
* Maintaining electrical safety standards across the site.
* Assisting with electrical commissioning of the construction project ensuring compliance with current electrical codes and maintenance specifications.
* Troubleshooting issues and faults as they arise.
* Drafting Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
* Issuance of Authority to Work (ATW) permits.
* Review project proposals and electrical drawings, providing suggestions for improvements.
* Liaise with stakeholders regarding scheduling to ensure timely completion of the project.
* Develop electrical procedures as required to support efficient and safe completion of the project.
About you:
To be our new Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will need:
* Cert IV electrical trade qualification in electrotechnology, or similar.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
* Strong leadership skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Working knowledge of state electrical and safety codes.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Applicants who can demonstrate the following will be highly regarded:
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
* Demonstrated experience in project management.
