About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee workshop operations while ensuring products are manufactured to specification and delivered efficiently.
Reporting directly to the General Manager / Sales Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising workshop production and managing a small team of welders
* Ensuring all products are manufactured to the required specifications and standards
* Reviewing drawings, processing work orders, and scheduling production
* Coordinating materials, stock levels, and workflow to meet deadlines
* Overseeing deliveries and ensuring goods are dispatched to site on time
* Maintaining safety, quality, and workplace standards across operations
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 5+ years experience in welding or steel fabrication
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and identify issues
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Clear communication and ability to lead a team
* Experience with data entry, Excel, and basic systems (MYOB desirable)
* A proactive, motivated, and hands-on approach
