Supply Chain Lead
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, customer-focused team member with strong leadership potential to join the Heidelberg Materials Australia team in Sale, Victoria (approximately 2.5 hours east of Melbourne).

With comprehensive on-the-job training across concrete and quarry materials, plant operations, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics, this position is an ideal stepping stone into future leadership or supervisory roles within our business. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while building a long-term career in the construction industry.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with early morning starts and rostered Saturday work based on business needs.
In This Role, You Will
Oversee the day-to-day operation of a concrete batch plant, taking ownership of outcomes and setting a positive example for othersOperate a front-end loader (training provided if required)Communicate regularly with customers, including taking orders, scheduling deliveries, and resolving queries professionallyUse computer-based systems for batching, scheduling, reporting, and record-keepingWork collaboratively with a high-performing local team and neighbouring sites, showing leadership and initiativePromote a strong safety culture and demonstrate coaching or mentoring capabilityEnsure products meet strict quality standards, with strong attention to detailMonitor plant and equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as requiredPlan, organise, and manage maintenance and production tasks, including some manual handling
