About the role
This is a full-time Quality Inspector role based in Renmark, SA, with G.J.Dix & Sons Pty Ltd, a fabrication and engineering workshop. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the company's products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
What you'll be doing
1. Conducting thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to identify any defects or non-conformances
2. Documenting inspection results and maintaining detailed quality control records
3. Collaborating with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
4. Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to continuously improve processes
5. Providing feedback and recommendations to management on quality improvement opportunities
6. Ensuring the company's quality management system and regulatory requirements are upheld
What we're looking for
1. Relevant qualifications or experience in quality assurance or control, or manufacturing and fabrication preferably within the manufacturing industry
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently apply quality control processes
3. Proficient in using quality control tools and software to document and analyse inspection data
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes of quality issues
5. Effective communication skills
6. A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to continuously improve quality standards
