The Opportunity
We are seeking a Veterinary Clinical Excellence Coordinator to lead the coordination and governance of clinical excellence across our national network. This is a high‐impact, enterprise‐level role responsible for connecting people, systems, and processes to ensure clinical learning, governance, and best practice are consistently delivered and continuously improved across AEA. Importantly, this role is about coordination, systems thinking, and influence—not hands‐on clinical delivery. A veterinary or clinical background is not required. We are open to candidates with strong experience in healthcare, governance, education, or multi‐site coordination environments.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Clinical Learning & Capability
* Coordinating national clinical learning and development initiatives
* Supporting onboarding, upskilling, and capability pathways
* Aligning training with network‐wide needs
Governance & Review
* Coordinating clinical incident, complaint, and review processes
* Establishing and facilitating review forums and governance structures
* Ensuring insights translate into system‐wide improvements
Best Practice & Knowledge Sharing
* Driving codification and sharing of best practice
* Maintaining clinical knowledge frameworks and repositories
* Embedding learning into systems and workflows
Network Integration
* Connecting clinicians across hospitals through forums and collaboration
* Strengthening a culture of continuous improvement and transparency
* Supporting national clinical community development

* Experience in healthcare, clinical governance, or education
* Experience working with senior professionals or technical specialists
* Exposure to quality, risk, or operational improvement frameworks
