As a Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP), you will design and implement strategies that improve quality of life, reduce restrictive practices, and empower participants to achieve their personal goals.
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), develop Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), and implement risk reduction strategies.
* Provide specialist consultation and mentoring to support staff and teams, promoting reflective practice and skill development.
* Deliver behaviour support in line with NDIS Quality Standards, Child Safety, and legislative requirements.
* Collaborate closely with families, carers, and care teams to achieve sustainable outcomes.
* Champion person-centred behaviour support by modelling high-quality practice.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Develop Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) that promote independence and well-being.
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviours.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services.
* Provide training and mentorship to support staff in developing their skills and knowledge.
About You:
Ideal Candidate:
* Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, ABA, or BCBA.
* Proficient or above under the NDIS PBS Capability Framework, with proven experience delivering complex behaviour support.
* Strong behavioural assessment and data analysis skills, with expertise in writing and implementing BSPs.
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for leading by example to build team capability.
* Commitment to best practice, reducing restrictive interventions, and safeguarding human rights.
