Catering HQ is looking for proactive Wait Staff to join our dedicated team at Altona RSL on a casual basis. We provide great opportunities for career progression.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
- Assist in the opening and/or closing of the catering department as per the company checklist guidelines.
- Initiate dialogue and develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items
- Understand and anticipate customer needs and aim to exceed these requirements
- Provide exceptional quality, consistent coffee and beverages to our guests
- Assist in reaching business goals and objectives as set out by management

- Experience in a similar role is ideal
- Have a strong customer service focus
- Professional, upbeat and friendly personality
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Highest level of presentation and grooming standards
- Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
- Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
- Innovative - proven experience of genuinely implementing current ideas
- Able to follow manual handling procedures correctly
