Bruce Rock Engineering (BRE) designs, builds, and maintains road trains and transport equipment tough enough for the Australian outback. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise our end‐to‐end operations across the four sites. The role is pivotal, responsible for procurement, inventory management, logistics and supplier partnerships, and requires a hands‐on leadership style with regular travel within Western Australia.
What you'll be doing:
* Develop and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with BRE's growth objectives.
* Lead procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
* Oversee inventory management and ensure stock availability across multiple sites.
* Manage logistics and distribution to guarantee on‐time, in‐full delivery.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and risk mitigation.
* Collaborate with operations, finance, sales, and production teams to align supply chain outcomes with business goals.
* Build and track KPIs to measure performance and deliver continuous improvement.
* Promote and uphold a strong safety‐first culture in all supply chain activities.
What we're looking for:
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management (or related field).
* Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
* Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor experience highly regarded).
* Excellent problem‐solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in the transport manufacturing or heavy industry sector.
* Familiarity with lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
* Professional accreditation with the Australasian Supply Chain Institute.
