Events Manager
Toowoomba Grammar School is seeking an experienced and relationship driven Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the School's diverse calendar of events. The role ensures that all events are welcoming, well organised, purposeful and reflective of the School's values. Working closely with staff, families and community partners this position will create high quality experiences that build connection, belonging and pride. About Toowoomba Grammar School
Toowoomba Grammar School was founded in 1875 and is a member school of the Great Public Schools Association of Queensland (GPS). It is an independent non-denominational day and boarding school for boys with a total enrolment of 1,200 from Preparatory to Year 12. There are approximately 300 boarders in the School coming predominantly from throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory. The School's campus covers 20.5 hectares and is located one kilometre from the centre of Toowoomba.

About the Position
As the central curator of event quality and experience, the Events Manager will provide guidance and direction to staff and stakeholders, overseeing event design, logistics, supplier coordination, risk management and event day execution. The role requires exceptional organisational ability, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating meaningful experiences for current families, prospective families, Old Boys and wider community partners.

Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated experience in managing end to end delivery of multiple events
Including planning, logistics, stakeholder coordination, supplier management and onsite execution.
2. Proven ability to create high quality event experiences
Ensuring all events reflect organisational values, brand standards and audience expectations.
3. Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
With the ability to represent the School warmly and professionally to families, Old Boys and community partners.
4. Highly developed organisational and time management skills
Including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver events to a high standard in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent judgement, problem solving and decision-making capability
Particularly when responding to challenges or operating under pressure.
6. Experience with governance, risk and compliance requirements
Including preparing event risk assessments and ensuring adherence to policies and WHS guidelines.
7. Effective communication and coordination abilities
Able to clearly communicate expectations, maintain accurate information flow and collaborate with diverse internal teams.
8. High level of digital capability
Including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to learn School systems.
