Job Description
Metal Fabricator and Welder Advantage Industries Advantage Industries has a vacancy for a Metal Fabricator and Welder at their business. This is a permanent, full time position. As a fully Australian-owned family business, Advantage Industries is passionate about our people.
We continually train our people and help them achieve their goals. We manufacture steel staircases and balustrade kits which are shipped Australia wide to builders and DIY customers. We are growing rapidly and looking for an additional welder to join our team.
The metal fabricator/welder will perform the following duties
* Examining Drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications
* Selecting and working with materials
* Welding, cutting, shaping, marking out, assembling, folding, packing and coating materials ready for installation and dispatch
* Operating various metal working and other machines, tools and equipment, including;
o CNC plasma cutters o CNC press brakes o MIG Welders o Pipe Benders o Overhead cranes o Bandsaws and more
* Pick-up and delivery of materials and assembled items.
* Working from drawings and specifications to make items
* On site installation of materials
* Problem Solving
Skills, Qualifications and Experience To qualify this position, you will have
* AQF Certificate III Fabrication Trade or equivalent or relevant experience
* Minimum 3 years experience
* Mig Welding experience
Remuneration/Salary $75,000 to $85,000 per annum, Depending on skills and experience Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates.
