About the Role:
Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, this role is perfect for someone who wants to continue working or transition to a tax specialist role.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio with clients ranging from some of the largest private groups in Australia to small and medium-cap ASX listed companies.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining excellent client engagement and relationships
* Working directly with tax partners to provide a broad range of value adding advice across a range of taxes
* Preparation and/or review of Private Binding Rulings
* Review of Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns
* Review of Fringe Benefit Tax Returns
* Review of quarterly tax update sides
* Assistance with the preparation of R&D tax incentive applications
* Assisting in delivery of technical training
* Consulting to various internal divisions regarding taxation matters
We are looking for someone with:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
* Experience in tax/accounting experience working with business clients
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Team player attitude and ability to form relationships easily
* High-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness
* Hold or be studying toward a Chartered Accountant qualification
