EDGE Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Intermediate to Senior Structural Drafter to join our growing team. This role is ideally based in Toowoomba, with an initial focus on supporting projects in Toowoomba and also in Cairns remotely. We are also open to candidates based in Brisbane.
You will work closely with engineers, the national drafting team, and BIM leadership to deliver high-quality structural documentation across a range of building projects.

The Opportunity
As an Intermediate / Senior Structural Drafter, you will take ownership of drafting deliverables across a variety of structural projects, working closely with engineers and project teams.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who can confidently deliver documentation in Revit and contribute to project outcomes from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver structural drawings using Revit
* Work across concrete, steel, timber and industrial projects
* Coordinate closely with engineers and internal teams
* Produce accurate, clear and buildable documentation
* Follow and implement EDGE drafting standards and templates
* Collaborate with the National Drafting Manager and BIM Manager
* Assist in managing drawing outputs and project documentation
* Contribute to project delivery within deadlines
* Participate in internal reviews and continuous improvementAttend project meetings where required
About You
We're looking for a capable drafter who can operate with a level of independence and technical confidence.
You will have:
* 4+ years' experience in structural drafting
* Strong Australian experience in building structures
* High proficiency in Revit (essential)
* Exposure to AutoCAD (beneficial but not essential)
* Ability to deliver drafting packages autonomously
* Strong attention to detail and documentation quality
* Good communication and team collaboration skills
* Willingness to learn and align with EDGE systems
* Openness to occasional training (Brisbane‐based as required)

Eligibility
