THE OPPORTUNITYWe are currently seeking a well-established and passionate leader for our Weddings & Events team. In this role you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of The Bimbadgen Palmers Lane function areaResponsibilities of the role will include but not limited to;Event Management - Leading the Wedding and Events team for Bimbadgen Palmers Lane and ensuring the seamless running of weddings and eventsFinancial Performance - Ensure that financial outcomes for The Palmers Lane Function space are in line with developed and agreed annual budgets, including revenue, expense and profit targets.Sales and Marketing – Successful development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives that will ensure that continued growth of the venue and leading into new markets (corporate, retreat, social)Product Quality and Development - Ensure that the offering at venue is continually reviewed to provide both value for money, profitability and creates positive guest experiences and up to date with market trends.Customer Relations - Ensure the venue maintains and builds strong relationships with its current and potential customers to achieve the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.Employee Relations - Lead, develop and assist the team of to maximize employee satisfaction, continuity, productivity and performance and where possible employee succession. And to specifically mentor and develop the core full time team.Legal Compliance - Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements including but not limited to OH&S, Liquor Licensing, Trade Practices, Public Liability, and Associated Risks; Workers Compensation and EEO.Health, Safety & Environment Management Ensure risk management activities are implemented within areas of responsibility.
