We’re seeking a reliable and flexible Catering Assistant to help cover a maternity leave position until August 2025 at one of our aged care kitchens. With 13+ hours per week and a roster based on your availability, this is a great opportunity to stay working casually, build experience, and potentially secure future work at nearby sites .

Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in the Central Coast
Roster
Various Hours 13+
Role
What This Role Involves:
* Assisting with food preparation
* Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
* Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
* Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
* Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
* Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
* Prepare and present texture modified foods
Desired Skills And Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
* Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
