About the role

We have an opportunity for a Personnel Services Manager to be part of our Payroll Operations team, Shared Services. The Personnel Services Manager provides leadership, management and expertise to the Senior Executive Services (SES) payroll officer and various other teams in Shared Services Command to ensure their service delivery of Personnel related activities is effective, efficient and focuses on delivering excellence in customer service to the organisation.

The direct reports for this role have been temporarily changed to include Personnel Services, Payroll Operations and Payroll Governance. Placement Services currently reports directly to the Director, HRTS. Pending success of the trial, this will be finalised as part of a formal restructure process.

Target Question 1

The role manages both BAU activities and oversights the implementation of corporate projects impacting payroll for over 20,000 employees. Describe your experience leading a team and managing payroll compliance during award or legislative change.

Target Question 2

What processes are critical to ensure payroll accuracy and data integrity every pay cycle.

* a New Zealand citizen.

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.

Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
