Bridgestone is a globally recognised business with a well-equipped specialist facility in Mackay. We are seeking an organised and proactive Machinist/Wheel Repairer to join our team.
The purpose-built OEM Overhaul facility is designed for cutting, machining and welding of OTR wheels including vertical lathes, specialised submerged-arc rotary welders and automated plasma cutter.
For success in this role, you will need strong commitment to safety of yourself and others. Key responsibilities include operating vertical lathes, performing machining of weld preparation, backgouge machining for full-penetration welding, and machining of various other wheel components.
