ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Swim Centre Lifeguard role will provide assistance to the Swim Centres Duty Supervisor through the effective supervision and evaluation of Councils aquatic facilities. This role will ensure the safety, quality and professional operation exceeds industry expectations and ensure front line customer service is provided.
The successful applicant will require:
4. Current Pool Lifeguard Licence
5. Current First Aid Certificate
6. Working with Children's Check
7. Supervisory experience in a similar role
8. High level of interpersonal and customer services skills

Position information: This is a casual position, working shifts between the hours of 4:30am to 8:30pm on Monday to Sunday, when required.
This position will be located at Council's Merrylands, Guildford, Wentworthville and Granville Swim Centres, with occasional travel required across Council work locations.
Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
9. The casual positions are a Grade 3 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $35.62 to $40.97 per hour (including casual loading) and 11% superannuation.
10. Weekend penalty rates apply in accordance with the Local Government Award.
11. The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
Council fully supports the aims and objectives of NSW Child Protection Legislation, and associated provisions, and will implement all necessary measures to ensure a safe and supporting Council environment, which endeavours to promote child safe child friendly practices.
