$57,130 to $62,486 per annum + 12% Superannuation 
As a Food Services Officer, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that supports the health and wellbeing of patients and staff across Tasmania’s public hospitals and health facilities. The team ensures safe preparation, handling, and delivery of nutritious meals that meet diverse dietary and clinical needs, with a strong focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork to contribute to patient care and recovery in a fast-paced, supportive environment. 
Responsibilities 
As a Food Services Officer, you will be responsible for the preparation, portioning, and delivery of meals to patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. Your role will ensure meals meet dietary, nutritional, and hygiene standards, supporting patient recovery and wellbeing. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team, maintain food safety protocols, operate kitchen equipment, and contribute to a clean and efficient food service environment. 
Requirements 
- Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices 
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
- Good communication and time management skills 
Details of appointment 
Multiple permanent part time, shift worker positions, working 30 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary 
$57,130 to $62,486 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. 
- Salary range is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022. 
Salary Packaging 
You’ll have access to salary packaging a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
