Salary: Level B, $111,139 – $131,857 per annum, plus up to 17% employer superannuation.
The Opportunity
Join the School of Health as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy – Musculoskeletal. The role is based primarily at Sippy Downs but may require teaching across multiple campuses. Responsibilities include teaching, course coordination and student supervision within undergraduate health programmes, and active participation in research and community engagement.

- Deliver high‐quality teaching and contribute to graduate outcomes.
- Develop and conduct research, advancing the Physiotherapy Discipline.
- Engage in governance, capacity‐building activities and enhance the student experience within the University.
- Establish productive industry and community links that benefit students, the community and the University.

- Effective communicator with stakeholders including staff, students and professional bodies.
- Committed to student success and creating a supportive learning environment.
- Strong knowledge of pedagogical principles, assessment design and instructional strategies.
- Adaptive and flexible, adjusting teaching approaches based on feedback and evolving educational trends.
- Dedicated to continuous professional development, attending workshops, conferences and staying current in physiotherapy practice.
Qualifications
- Unrestricted current registration to practice physiotherapy in Australia.
- At least 5years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Completion or near completion of a doctoral qualification in a related field, or an equivalent qualification and standing.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies and active engagement with community groups or professional practice.
