We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Youth Workers in a regional Queensland setting. Our residential program provides accommodation and intensive support to children and young people with diverse needs.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our children and young people to thrive. They will bring a genuine passion and commitment to making a positive impact in the life of children and young people.
About You
* You must possess clear and effective communication skills, as well as computer literacy and accuracy in record management.
* You should be able to follow policies and procedures consistently, and work collaboratively with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals.
* You need to be flexible and willing to work across a 24/7 roster.
Key Requirements
* You must have a minimum of Cert IV qualification recognized under the child safety minimum qualification standards, or be willing to actively study towards this requirement.
* You need to possess certification in Hope and Healing for residential care, which you will obtain upon commencement.
* You require a current P1 C class driver's licence, a registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive insured vehicle, and nationally recognized first aid and CPR certificates.
* You also need a Positive Notice Working with Children blue card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality, Safety & You.
