After successfully winning a landmark national defence contract, we are looking for Electricians who are looking for the next step in their career. This contract will create opportunity for progression off the tools for a lot of our trades people.
This role be work across sites in Canberra & Wagga Wagga.
To be considered you need:
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician
* 5+ years in a Team Leader or Supervisor role
* 5+ years post trade experience in Commercial Service and Maintenance
* Experience dealing with sub-contractors and blue-chip clients
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning and Sub Contrator Coordination:
* Maintain schedules and timelines issued by our Service Delivery Manager
* Coordinate with our subcontractors and client/builder inc internal/external engineers.
* Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project completion.
Site Supervision:
* Oversee the maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
* Inspect and verify the quality of workmanship.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Quality Control:
* Conduct regular quality inspections.
* Follow AE Smith quality control measures to prevent defects and errors.
* Document and report on quality assurance activities.
* Monitor and control risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
* Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
* Using RAPID Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and emergency response plans.
