The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to lead a School positioned at the heart of creative practice, cultural leadership, and societal impact. As the Head of School, you will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership; drive high-quality education and research; cultivate a thriving organisational culture; and lead meaningful and enduring community partnerships.
What's Required
* Qualifications and experience commensurate with the senior academic level in one of the disciplines (Art and Theatre) offered by the School.
* Academic leadership experience, with a strong record of achievement in teaching, research, and engagement within a University or comparable context.
* Strong understanding of curriculum design, teaching quality assurance, and student experience enhancement.
* Experience in leadership of practice-led research, including fostering collaboration, maintaining research quality and integrity, and securing partnerships and external funding.
* Sound financial management capabilities, including budget development, forecasting, and efficient deployment of people and assets.
* Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to higher education, research, and risk management.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders to enhance the School's profile and impact.
