Education Focused Roles in Chemistry
The School of Chemistry is internationally recognized for its excellence in research and teaching. Our mission is to nurture students to become leaders who will generate societal, economic, and environmental benefits.
Our Education Focussed roles (EF) enable academics to specialize in education and devote their time to delivering high-quality teaching and pursuing initiatives to enhance the educational experience of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching and pursue initiatives to enhance the educational experience of students.
* Develop a well-defined teaching philosophy that inspires student learning.
* Conduct classes, assess student learning achievements and support students in postgraduate and undergraduate courses.
For Level C:
* Lead the design/development of experimental approaches to teaching and learning.
* Maintain and develop links within the discipline industry and profession.
Selection Criteria:
* A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
* Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, curriculum development and delivery.
* Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
