Family Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to provide hands-on support to families, addressing complex challenges and helping them achieve safety, stability, and resilience.
The successful candidate will work directly with vulnerable families in the Caboolture and surrounding suburbs area, implementing individualised family support plans under the direction of a Service Coordinator.
Main Responsibilities:
* Implement behaviour management strategies, trauma recovery techniques, and parenting skill development for families in need.
* Foster connections between families and essential resources such as healthcare, housing, and education.
* Monitor family progress and maintain detailed case documentation to ensure family goals are consistently met.
* Adapt to flexible scheduling based on each family's needs to maximise engagement and support outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Community Services or relevant qualification.
* 12 months experience supporting children and families with complex needs.
* Australian driver's license.
* First Aid Certificate with current CPR.
* Working with Children Check (paid employee status).
* A reliable car with registration.
* A reliable smartphone with data.
