About The Team
The Traffic Services group delivers customer‐centric technical leadership and advocacy across the full lifecycle of customer systems. Working within the Customer Engineering & Support group, the team partners closely with Service Delivery, Professional Services, Product Development and Customer Engagement to secure projects and deliver meaningful customer outcomes. This is a collaborative, technically focused team working directly with live traffic environments and operational transport systems.
About The Role
The Traffic Services Support Engineer provides specialised support across traffic signal personality generation, testing and documentation. The role works closely with senior engineers on project activities focused on traffic signal operations, while also contributing to broader ITS initiatives across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‐career engineer or IT professional to build hands‐on experience across traffic systems, operational ITS environments and customer‐facing technical support, while developing the capability to manage support requests and enquiries with increasing autonomy.
What You'll Do
* Assist Traffic Services engineers with a range of traffic‐related tasks, including undertaking personality testing, burning personality cards, preparing documentation, and progressively developing the capability to write simple signal personalities.
* Support the creation of Data Audit reports through the collection of traffic data, along with the processing and analysis of traffic datasets to inform system accuracy and performance.
* Maintain and contribute to procedures and process documentation.
* Provide general correspondence and support to customers.
* Assist with broader ITS‐related tasks across the Traffic Services group as required.
