We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive. You will have a history of performance in quota attainment and developing customer accounts. This role is part of the Commercial Sales team and reports to the Regional Director Sales.


Your Responsibilities:

* Achieve revenue targets by exceeding sales quotas through a full-cycle sales process.
* Develop and strategize account plans with members of other teams.
* Manage strategic sales motions alongside transactional opportunities with Commercial customers.
* Conduct needs assessment calls with prospects.
* Ensure Smartsheet success in retention and growth of account revenue.
* Partner with customer success to maximize the value of Smartsheet solutions.
* Consult with clients on defining collaboration goals and strategy to ensure customer perception of value.
* Exceed quotas using Solution/Consultative Selling.
* Manage your book of business for expansion and up-sell opportunities.
* Be a subject matter expert of Smartsheet and develop in-depth knowledge of product offerings.
* Provide support to customers and prospects.
* Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management.


Your Profile:

* 7+ years proven sales track record – 5+ years in SaaS environment.
* Experience managing customer relationships in B2B environments.
* Sales experience in technology-oriented fields.
* Familiarity with CRM software packages and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
* Possess excellent analytical skills to identify cross-sell and up-sell potential within existing books of business.
* Ability to prospect and manage designated territories to maximize revenue growth.
* Deal well with pressure and remain optimistic under adversity.
* Strong interactions with senior corporate management both internally and externally.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education.
