Job Title: Communications Liaison
The role of the Communications Liaison is to manage and enhance the school's communication and promotional efforts across various platforms, as well as promote school events and community engagement through effective communication strategies and promotional content.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote the school's image and reputation.
* Manage the school's website, social media, and other online platforms to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with teachers, staff, and students to develop engaging content for promotional materials, including news articles, videos, and photos.
* Plan and coordinate school events, such as open days, parent-teacher meetings, and community functions.
* Build relationships with local media outlets to secure positive press coverage for the school.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in communications or a related field.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in graphic design software and video editing tools.
* Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
* Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
