Our Federal Government client is seeking Senior Software Engineers to deliver secure, scalable applications across Java, .NET and modern integration platforms. You'll advance DevOps practices, optimise data models, and ensure robust system integration through RESTful APIs that support critical services.
What you'll do
* Develop, maintain and enhance applications across
Java (Spring MVC)

.NET (Entity Framework)
and integration platforms (
Mulesoft/ESB
).
* Design and implement
RESTful APIs
and integration points that are secure, scalable and resilient.
* Implement
CI/CD
using tools such as
Azure Pipelines
and
Jenkins
.
* Analyse and optimise
SQL
and
data models
for performance, integrity and efficient access.
* Write unit tests and support test automation (e.g.
Karate
,
Gatling
).
* Produce clear technical, specification and compliance documentation.
* Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate closely in a complex technical environment—proactively communicating, asking clarifying questions and driving problem-solving.
Essential criteria
1. Multi-Stack Development Proficiency
– Java (Spring MVC), .NET (Entity Framework), Mulesoft/ESB.
2. API & Integration Design
– robust, scalable, secure RESTful APIs and system integration.
3. DevOps Implementation
– CI/CD with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins.
4. Data Modelling & SQL Optimisation
– performance, integrity, efficient access.
5. Testing & Automation
– unit testing; contribution to automation with Karate, Gatling.
6. Technical Documentation
– clear, accurate, up-to-date artefacts.
7. Baseline
level security clearance
