Job Description Design and develop HV substations up to 132kV, including primary and protection systems.
Plan and implement power systems engineering solutions for complex projects.
Ensure compliance with earthing systems standards (AS ****) for all designs.
Support the integration of renewable energy sources, including solar and wind, into the grid.
Contribute to the delivery of major infrastructure projects nationally.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless interfacing with rail networks.
Oversee construction, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure project completion.
Provide technical expertise and support to multidisciplinary teams.
The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Electrical Engineer should have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in HV substation design and power systems engineering.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS ****.
Expertise in renewable energy integration and major infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with rail network interfacing and associated systems.
Experience with construction, testing, and commissioning processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
