We think about the customer and make doing business with McCain easy.The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager will lead and oversee all continuous improvement initiatives within the plant, with a focus on driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the business.
The CI Manager will provide leadership and direction to the Continuous Improvement Lead(s) and other key stakeholders, utilising Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other process improvement methodologies.
The role aims to significantly enhance productivity, reduce costs, and instill a culture of continuous improvement across the plant's operations.AccountabilitiesDevelop and execute the plant's continuous improvement strategy in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.Lead, mentor, and provide direction to Continuous Improvement Lead(s) and cross-functional teams in the execution of improvement initiatives.Serve as a key partner to the Plant Leadership Team, driving the adoption of continuous improvement culture across all levels.Establish and manage a governance framework for CI projects, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.Oversee the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other methodologies, ensuring the standardisation of best practices across all operations.Monitor and report on CI initiatives' progress, ensuring that KPIs are met and initiatives deliver measurable improvements.QualificationsPost-graduate degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related fieldLean Six Sigma certification (or similar) preferredAdvanced qualifications or certifications in continuous improvement methodologies are advantageous.SkillsExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale CI projects that deliver measurable outcomes in cost savings, efficiency, and operational performance.Experience in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams and continuous improvement professionals.Strong strategic leadership with the ability to drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other continuous improvement methodologies.Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead, influence, and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and adapt to changing priorities.The Benefits Of Working For McCain.Opportunity to be a part of a global iconic brand, fun & high performing teamEmployee & Family Assistance ProgramPioneering, innovative and dedicated development programsEducation Assistance ProgramsOpportunity to Chip In and give back to the community as part of our paid volunteer program each year.About McCain.At McCain, we're feeding the world: from French fries to pizza, we contribute to the important role food plays in people's lives.
