The Opportunity: We are seeking Registered Midwives to support our Birthing Unit at a leading private hospital. In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering comprehensive midwifery care to mothers and families. You will act professionally when dealing with the healthcare team, patients, and their families.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care in line with the hospital's core values and strategic direction.
* Work collaboratively with the department manager, clinical nurse, team leader, and shift leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients.
Requirements:
* Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
* Recent experience working within birthing and postnatal care.
* Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to midwifery practice in the workplace.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Remuneration:
An attractive hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications. An excellent benefits package is also available, including professional development opportunities and access to leading industry resources.
