The Role
We have a Control Room position available in South Wharf working across 12-hour rotating roster. This role will see you supporting one of our clients by providing an exceptional understanding of systems and procedures of the site.
The Tasks
* Act in the role of Chief Warden when required or in the absence of the Security Manager and have knowledge in Emergency Management
* Support the Operations Supervisors
* Assist with training for new Operators
* Responsible for access control, CCTV monitoring, contractor sign in, isolations, audits, incident reports, respond to email and phone enquiries, lost property, initial response for emergencies
* Assist in daily operations and escalate when necessary
* Ability to work in multiple control room operator roles by following strict site policies and procedures
* Monitor and respond to alarm activations
* Ensure that all workplace incidents and hazards are reported in accordance with the companies' procedures
The Successful Candidate
* A current VIC Security Providers Licence with Control Room Operator function on security licence
* Fluent in English and the ability to write comprehensive reports
* Minimum 3 years experience in a control room or demonstrated leadership roles
* Ability to work in a rotating roster
* Full Australian Work Rights
