Mechanical S26 Supervisor - Port Hedland (Permanent Relocation)

About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned S26 Mechanical Supervisor to join our Port Hedland residential team. Working closely with a skilled Superintendent, you will provide oversight to approximately 150 personnel across multiple sites and disciplines. Activities span fixed plant maintenance, structural remediation, brownfield operational construction, marine works, deconstruction, repairs, fabrication, boilermaking, and scaffolding.
This position requires diplomacy, tenacity, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Employment Package
* $1,000 per week living and meal allowance (taxed in accordance with ATO requirements)

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team including boilermakers, fitters, scaffolders, crane operators, and riggers
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, including quoting, tendering, and promoting win‐win outcomes
* Provide expert technical advice and champion industry best practice
* Strategically plan and prioritise complex work fronts across multiple projects
* Ensure all workers implement effective control measures to minimise health and safety risks
* Report incidents, non-conformances, and near‐misses; participate in investigations where required
* Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
* Conduct pre‐start meetings, toolbox talks, and contribute to a proactive safety culture
