SmallPaws Pet Hotel is an industry-leading, family-owned pet care boutique hotel, providing exclusive care services for small dog breeds and cats for over 32 years, idyllically situated on 5 acres on Sydney’s iconic Northern Beaches.

About the role:
We’re seeking a dedicated and passionate Office Assistant/Animal Attendant to join our small, long-standing team in this exciting and rare opportunity. You’ll work exclusively with small and toy dog breeds and cats, providing them with the love and care they deserve.
* Casual position, primarily assisting in the office and helping care for our guests. Perfect for a local Mum or University student
* Must be able to work every second Saturday and assist filling in shifts when necessary
* Meet and greet customers and their pets
* Answer phone calls, respond to emails and conduct private tours
* Post and respond to messages on our social media platforms
* Ensure all details are recorded on our system accurately
* Perform animal care tasks such as (but not limited to) cleaning, administering medication, feeding, assessing animals, exercising and enrichment activities
* Interact and care for small dogs and cats
* Keep thorough records of the animals in care

What We’re Looking For:
-Must be able to work alternate Saturdays and more shifts over school holidays periods & when needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- A keen eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Confidence in making decisions and working within timeframes
- Fluent English skills and great communication
- Must have own car and ability to start shifts at 7:15 AM
- Motivated, reliable, and passionate about providing the best care for animals
