Job Role Overview
This position entails providing continuous support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their daily needs are met. Proficiency in managing epilepsy and assisting people with intellectual disabilities is highly valued.
Main Responsibilities
* Support individuals with personal care, social skills, housekeeping, and budgeting tasks.
* Assist with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and community integration through socialization and outings.
* Maintain relationships between individuals, family, friends, and services.
Essential Requirements
* Possession of a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts including multiple sleepovers per week.
* Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
* National Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check, and an open Driver's Licence with comprehensive insurance necessary.
