About the role
The Paediatric Eating Disorders Team requires a Senior Mental Health Clinician with expertise in the assessment, consultation, education and discharge planning for young people presenting with eating disorders. The clinician will work in an integrated mental health and paediatric model, collaborating with paediatricians, consultant psychiatrists, an eating disorder coordinator and dieticians to ensure high‐quality care for inpatient and short‐stay patients.
About you
* Senior mental health clinician with at least 5 years experience and significant tertiary mental health service experience
* Current nursing, occupational therapy or clinical psychology registration with AHPRA
* Valid social work degree approved by AASW and eligibility for AASW membership
* Post‐graduate qualifications in mental health, family therapy or child psychotherapy are desirable
* Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
* Strong commitment to high quality care and teamwork
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Vaccination requirement
COVID‐19 vaccination is strongly recommended. Seasonal influenza vaccination is mandatory for this role and must be up to date prior to employment.
