We are partnered with Australia's largest wholesaler of fresh flowers and potted products. We are looking for passionate and reliable people with a love for creating beautiful spaces to join our merchandising field team in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
Our floral merchandising team specialise in creating inviting floral & potted displays within major supermarkets throughout Australia.
This opportunity will involve servicing stores located in: Melton & surrounding areas. Working days for this role will be working 3 days per week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday's. Potential for other days including Monday and Friday, Shift start time roughly 7am.
Responsibilities
- Merchandising the company's product range in-store at major supermarket chains within your assigned area.
- Create point of sale displays, ensuring the product is well-stocked and maintained
- Checking stock levels for stores, liaising with store managers
- Bringing stock onto shop floor from loading dock, unpacking, and displaying (lifting up to 12kgs).
- Cleaning display area and checking stock quality
- Customer contact and liaising with store and department managers.
Qualifications
- Own reliable car is essential with Australian driver's license.
- Able to work early mornings (6am)
- Prior retail, supermarket or merchandising knowledge is an advantage, but not essential
- Exceptional customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Well presented, with a flair for creativity
- Reliable and physically fit with the ability to work unsupervised
