Automation Expert
We assist businesses in streamlining operations by automating repetitive tasks, identifying actionable insights, and connecting them with relevant data, advisors, and applications.
This role may be remote within the US, preferably based in the San Francisco / Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Denver areas. Automation experts must work part-time hours.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create software that addresses customer needs and meets high technical standards.
* Design and automate testing activities to ensure product quality.
* Triage and resolve development and production issues, collaborating with the team to track down root causes.
* Communicate issue impacts to stakeholders, setting priorities for resolution and participating in incident responses.
* Maintain knowledge of engineering standards and practices, developing and deploying software that meets these standards.
* Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technologies, developing expertise in one or more programming languages and ecosystems.
* Deliver infrastructure in a production environment, ensuring all software runs as expected and proactively preventing customer-facing problems.
* Practice agile software development, facilitating ceremonies and improving team processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* High level of experience in various languages and tools (C#, .net, React, Typescript, Redux, etc.).
* Proven ability to contribute to internal ecosystems, build SDKs and libraries for other teams.
* Able to debug across the entire technology stack and make major code design decisions.
* Highly proficient in distributed systems architecture and implementation, refactoring complex systems into scalable components.
* Proficient with CI/CD concepts and tooling, advocating for TDD and automated tooling for safe and repeated releases.
