Job Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a comprehensive range of Nuclear Medicine Physics services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and developing these services, including SPECT-CT and PET-CT, to various Trust locations.
Main Duties
* Support work for compliance with the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R), including nuclear medicine dose optimisation and calculation of doses to patients following clinical incidents.
* Participate in audits of compliance with relevant radiation legislation, including IRR, IR(ME)R and CDG/ADR.
* Contribute to the practical aspects of standard and non-standard molecular therapy treatments.
* Perform dosimetry for target organs and organs at risk for molecular therapy treatments.
* Develop clinical procedures under the Nuclear Medicine Quality System.
