You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering projects in civil infrastructure, waste, water, and mining sectors.What you'll do in more details:Lead and deliver projects focused onWaste management including landfill design, engineered containment systems, geosynthetic applications resource recovery solutionsWater infrastructure including dam engineering, earth structures and repair works, and waste water management pondsMining including tailings management facilities and complex liner systemsGround engineering including slope stabilisation and rehabilitationDevelop cutting-edge solutions for geo-environmental challenges, integrating waste management into broader infrastructure projectsPrepare and review technical documentation for waste-related projects across planning, design, and execution phasesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients in the waste and geo-environmental sectors, supporting both project delivery and business development initiativesEnsure technical excellence in waste and geo-environmental engineering, overseeing quality and risk managementUndertaking project management to deliver desired outcomes for key clients with a focus on repeat businessMentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment and sharing expertise in waste management and geo-environmental engineering**About You**You will likely hold a tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering, supported by over 7 years of relevant industry experience.In this role, strong detailed design capabilities are essential. You will bring:Experience in delivering high-quality, detailed design documentationTechnical expertise in waste management, including the design of landfills, leachate collection and treatment systems, geosynthetics, capping systems, and resource recovery infrastructureAbility to assess and design for subsurface environmental risks, embankments, complex earthworks, and surface water management systemsProficiency in using design software and tools to produce accurate, constructible, and compliant engineering designsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience leading and contributing to multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring integration of design elements across disciplinesA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and technical excellenceProven or developing skills in mentoring and guiding junior to senior engineers, with sound decision-making and project delivery skillsImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
