The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Inventory Controller to join our ever-growing team based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs. The Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Key areas of focus include resolving inventory related issues, regular audits, collaboration, safety stock quantities, streamlines inventory management workflows, timesheets and SAP inventory management systems. You shall report directly to the Inventory Manager.
Duties / Responsibilities
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and prevent stockouts or overstock situations
* Resolve inventory-related issues
* Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock in SAP
* Expedite stock to relevant department
* Establish and maintain min / max and safety stock quantities
* Manage employee timesheets
* Support the development and maintenance of SAP
What we are looking for
* Previous inventory experience dealing with volume SKU's, spare parts an advantage
* Safety conscientious, ALWAYS
* Experience in the Caravan industry or spare parts is highly desirable
* Exceptional quality of work
* Outstanding problem-solving skills, no job is too big
* Ability to adapt in a changing environment
* Organising, prioritising, and meeting deadlines is your forte
* Valid driver's licence
* Current forklift licence with high reach experience advantageous, happy to support training
