Lead a school psychology team to provide a child and adolescent psychological service which supports students and families, contributing to capacity building of school communities to improving students' access, participation, and achievement.
As a DECYP Senior School Psychologist you will:
* lead a team of school psychologists providing clinical child and adolescent psychology services to
o undertake educational and psychological assessment and diagnosis in all areas of child and adolescent development
o provide counselling, therapy and programs for individual students and groups for a range of mental health, emotional and family issues.
* build the capacity of school communities to improve student's access, participation and achievement
* provide general supervision for your team and leadership in professional learning, clinical supervision, recruitment and inter‐agency liaison
* maintain a small client load.

We are looking for
* Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award
* General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia in accordance with the provisions of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Tasmania) Act 2010.
* Approval from the Psychology Board of Australia as a Board‐approved supervisor.
* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
* Membership with the Australian Psychological Society.
* Eligible for Teacher Registration in Tasmania.
